At GMLTJoseph, we work closely with our authors in striving to produce a high level of literary writing for the mostly-digital publishing industry in a variety of genres, especially the women’s fiction market. We publish digital titles for Kindle and other e-readers, as well as print-on-demand paper books.
What We Believe
GMTLJoseph believes that digital book readers are looking for — and deserve to find — a high quality reading experience, comparable to what you’d find in a traditionally published book.
We believe that the traditional publishing model is no longer relevant for a vast number of independent authors. Still, they need guidance, help, editorial support, marketing ideas, and a team of people who can spur them on to achieve what might have seemed impossible.
We believe that by offering these independent authors a whole team of enthusiastic supporters, with experience in writing, editing, publishing, marketing and communications, we can help rally them on and make the process enlightening and fun
We believe that the gap left between traditional publishing and independent authorship can be filled in new, creative and collaborative ways. This is why we do what we do.
Authors retain their royalties and pay their own expenses while sharing a common marketing pool to publicize their offerings, as well as expertise in navigating the process of digital publishing. The over-arching structure of the imprint does not profit from the work of the authors; a one-percent kick-in covers the marketing and technical expenses.
We Believe That Books Can Do Good
Each GMTLJoseph author agrees to donate a portion of the royalties earned on each book sold to the charitable organization of his/her choice. It’s amazing how much a little bit can add up to make a big impact.
Current and upcoming authors will be supporting the good work of these organizations:
